How many PCs will a BACKUPKEY protect?
 |
 |
Pre-installed BACKUPKEY drives will back up as many computers as there is space on the drive.
Since the typical office PC contains less than 1 GB of data,
a single 120GB BACKUPKEY drive can back up a lot of computers in the workplace.

BACKUPKEY software is sold by the number of users (not computers) that it is licensed to back up.

A practical approach to the question is to consider how much data you need to back up.
Unless instructed otherwise, Windows XP and 2000 computers store their data in "Documents and Settings".
Windows Vista stores data in "Users".

Your size estimates should allow plenty of room for growth in the amount of data you keep and for archives.
If you want to keep multiple copies of certain data (such as financial records), you will need extra space.
